Once Upon A Time: A Block Party

Once Upon A Time, reverence and respect for community was the backbone of our culture. As a people, we looked out for each other, protected, and supported each other. Once Upon A Time is a block party that will transport us back to that way of being. Where disrespect is not allowed and upliftment is the order of the day. Where healthy choices are celebrated and self-expression is sacred.

This block party will embody the spirit, energy, and joy of the late 80’s and early 90’s in New York, curated by those who were there. You can expect all the jams from that time and their dances. We encourage you to bogel, to do the Pee Wee Herman, to jump double dutch, to laugh, joke, to immerse yourself in joy and play.

This is a day for us to play in a way that will be remembered for generations. This is more than a party, it’s a call to order for the community. Everyone is invited—men, women, children, all beings who come in peace.
